The Evangelical Accrediting Association's™ primary objective is to present a formal structure in the realm of higher education relative to oversight of Christian educational institutions. This is accomplished through its process of evaluating the academic procedures of those educational institutions which apply for Certification and/or Accreditation.
The Evangelical Accrediting Association™ is a nondenominational Christian association committed to offering educational accountability to institutions of higher learning, both nationally and internationally. The EAA™ functions in the academic realm of accreditation within the overall scope of improving Christian higher education. This committment is for all theological institutions—private schools, colleges, universities, and seminaries. The EAA™ relates to the importance of the success of institutions of higher learning, both academically and spiritually.
The Evangelical Accrediting Association™ bases its accrediting system on a specific educational standard. Under this standard, a theological institution will be evaluated and guided for the purpose of establishing and maintaining educational accountability. The association constantly promotes excellence and integrity to all of the certified and/or accredited educational institutions. This unique process will assist each institution of higher education in their quest to be academically recognized in religious educational academia.
